The International Conference for the Presentation of Innovations in Chemical & Biochemical Optical Sensing will offer all participants extensive opportunities to exchange ideas, make contacts, and network outside of the lectures and discussions. Between the scientific sessions, there will be breaks in an attractive area (Carl Zeiss Hall), where the poster exhibition will also be located and information stands will be set up.
There will also be a poster session that encourages interaction and discussion, as well as two evening events.
Get-Together
We welcome participants on the first evening for a Get-Together in the conference venue Volkshaus Jena. Meet old and new colleagues over snacks and drinks. You will also have the opportunity to check-in for the conference and pick up your material.

Conference Dinner
You are cordially invited to the social evening in a special location in Jena. The “Volksbad” was a public bathing facility that was built between 1907 and 1909. In the early 2000s, it was decided to use the Volksbad as a center for culture and education. It was renovated, with the emphasis an leaving its former purpose visible. This gives the building a unique charm. The Volksbad is within walking distance of the city center.
